KWD Portugal was able to double its production. The factory in Palmela now annually produces subassemblies for 500,000 vehicles manufactured in the Volkswagen Autoeuropa, Volkswagen Osnabrück, Seat Autoeuropa, Ford Valencia, and Mercedes Vitoria plants.
